Meet our Team

Tom Hunter graduated from Davidson College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He then worked for a startup joint-venture between MidSouth Financial and Centura Bank. After several promotions culminating in Vice President, Mr. Hunter was selected to attend UNC's Kenan-Flager Business School and graduated with honors in 1999. Upon graduation, Mr. Hunter worked as a mergers and acquisitions associate for Brookwood Associates, LLC, an investment bank in Charlotte, NC. In 2002, he joined his family's company, Hunter Corporation, Inc. While attending NADA's Dealer Academy, Mr. Hunter worked at all positions within the dealership, from parts counter, sales to sales manager. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hunter Corporation.

Randy Hunter graduated from East Carolina University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In September of 1984 he began his career with Hunter Corporation, Inc. Randy has worked in all departments and has held practically every position at both dealerships, including sales representative, service writer, finance manager, new and used car manager and general sales manager. He has garnered many sales awards from Chevrolet's Legion of Sales leaders and the Truck Honor Club. In 1998 he was promoted to General Manager of Hunter Nissan Lincoln Mercury. The dealership has earned several awards, including Nissan's prestigious Award of Merit. He is currently serving as the Chairman and Visionary of Hunter Corporation.

 Hector is originally from New Jersey. He has recently moved up to WNC from Miami, Florida to join the Hunter team as the new S/H/V/G General Manager. He has been in the automotive industry for over 30 years. Hector is an experienced and well-reputed General Manager. He received a  Business Admin Executive Certificate from the University of Notre Dame. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix.

I grew up in Hendersonville, NC, attending high school at Hendersonville High. I then spent my next four years at Appalachian State University and obtained a degree in Business Management, as well as a degree in Finance in Banking. After college, I spent five years in Charlotte, NC working as a Financial Advisor For UBS Financial Services. I moved back to Hendersonville, NC with my wife Emma in December of 2020. We have a Black lab and a Chocolate Lab. I enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, spending time outside and with my family.

Hi, I’m Russ! I’ve been in the automotive business for 26 years, and I’ve developed a deep passion for the industry. I’m from Rockville, MD, where I enjoy spending my free time playing poker, hiking, catching live music, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m also a proud dad to my 22-year-old son, Noah. Whether I’m exploring the outdoors, finding a great concert, or sitting down for a competitive poker game, I’m always looking for the next great experience.

Jacob, originally from West Virginia, joins the Hunter family with over seven years' experience in the automotive industry. Jacob enjoys watching different genres of movies and reading comic books.

Meet Ken! Originally from the sunny shores of Florida, Ken brought his warm personality and energetic approach to life with him when he joined the team here at Hunter. Ken is known for his knack for problem-solving and a passion for making every customer’s experience exceptional. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the beautiful WNC mountains, enjoying lots of live music shows, and perfecting his BBQ skills—a hobby that always earns rave reviews from friends and family. Ken’s friendly demeanor and dedication to excellence make him a standout team member, and he’s always excited to help customers find exactly what they need!

Born and raised on the islands of Hawaii. He loves tennis, exotic cars, and playing music. He has been in the automotive industry for 10 years from receptionist, service tech, service advisor,  service manager, sales consultant, finance manager to sales manager, for different dealers. Also certified through Harvard Business School for Leadership principals, Negotiation Mastery, Management Essentials, and Strategy Execution.

Gala Rice has been in sales at Hunter since 2000 and says "I LOVE SELLING CARS!!"  Born in Brevard, she is very involved at Next Church, leads a Healthy Living Exercise and Bible study class.  She and her high school sweetheart, Jeff, have been married 27 years and have three wonderful children (Christina, Caleb and Joshua) and two wonderful grandchildren (Sophia and Collin).  Gala is an avid runner and has her BA from UNC-Charlotte.  Her son and son-in-law are in the US Air Force and her son Joshua is a college student and baseball player.

Meet Scott! Originally from Colts Neck, NJ, Scott traded coastal living for the serenity of the mountains, seeking new adventures and a change of pace. An avid cyclist and runner, Scott embraces an active lifestyle that perfectly matches the scenic beauty of WNC. At home, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three beloved rescue dogs, who keep life lively and fun. Scott is also a proud dad to two grown sons who inspire him every day. Scott’s adventurous spirit and dedication shine through in everything he does, making him an integral part of the Hunter family!

Pam Justice has been in the automotive industry since 2004 with Hunter and before was with Sunshine Chevrolet in Arden.  She has also been a sales consultant and Internet Sales Manager.  She is native to NC, has one daughter and son-in-law along with two granddaughters and one on the way!  Her hobbies include teaching Sunday School for 2-5 years, hiking, reading and watching the sunset from her front porch.

I am a WNC native. I have a 9 year old son named Cayman and reside in Hendersonville. I worked in the cellular market for 5 years before finding my way into the Automotive Industry which I now have been a part of for 2 years. I am a Sales Consultant for Volvo, Hyundai, and Subaru. I am enjoy spending time with family and friends,watching sports, and trying to enjoy life as much as possible. I enjoy helping people to find the right car that fits their budgets and needs.

I was born and raised in England, and moved to the US in 2020 to be with my wife. I previously worked in the travel and events industry in England and was lucky to travel a lot of Europe within my role. I joined the Automotive industry after relocating and I enjoy the business as I get to meet and talk to lots of new people from all walks of life! Outside of work I am living the Asheville dream, hiking with my wife and Fox Red Labrador, enjoying the local breweries this area has to offer and still keeping up with football (soccer) at the local bars. A South African living the American dream and loves to meet new people. Scott loves the outdoors; swimming, camping, fishing, and just taking in all the natural beauty mother nature has. His heart is helping children, loves helping out at summer camps and teaching carpentry. He lives in Hendersonville, but loves and misses his family back in South Africa Scott really enjoys being able to help people pick out their perfect vehicle for them and their family.

I’m a proud Hendersonville native and have been part of the Hunter family for a while now. I started as a mechanic, but I always had an interest in sales. When the opportunity came to switch gears, I decided to go for it—and I’ve enjoyed every moment since! In my free time, I still love working on cars and taking my Evo out for a drive whenever I can. Cars have always been a passion of mine, whether I’m under the hood or out on the road. I’m grateful to be in a role where I can share that enthusiasm with others every day!

I’ve had the opportunity to call a few places home, growing up mostly in Augusta, Georgia, but also spending time in Washington, Massachusetts, and even Germany. I eventually made my way to North Carolina to be closer to my family—my parents, sister, and nephew. I’m someone with way too many hobbies to list! Outside, I love mountain biking, disc golfing, and capturing the world through photography. Indoors, I enjoy playing guitar and drums. Lately, I’ve added racing autocross to the mix, which has been an absolute blast. Professionally, my background is diverse. I’ve worked as a dental lab technician specializing in CAD/CAM technology, and I’ve spent plenty of time as a bicycle mechanic in shops. Recently, I transitioned into car sales at a Toyota dealership in Montana, where I discovered a new passion. I’m thrilled to continue in the automotive industry and help customers find their perfect fit!

I am originally from Hendersonville NC and now live in Landrum with my 2 children Luella and Maddox.

Hi, I’m Josh Hensley from Morganton, NC. I’ve built my career around a passion for hands-on work and helping people, starting in the automotive world with several years at Advance Auto and Toyota. I later transitioned into the security industry with ADT, where I spent 8 years in sales and 9 years as a technician. Outside of work, I’m all about the outdoors—I enjoy car restorations, fishing, general aviation, hiking, camping, and building things. While I don’t currently have any pets, I’m a big dog lover and a family-oriented guy.

I was born and raised in the Mountain Home area of Henderson County and graduated from West Henderson High School in 2010. This community has always been my home, and I’m excited to start a new chapter here. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting and staying active with sports like football and basketball. My family means everything to me—I have two wonderful kids, Roman (4) and Ryleigh (2), and a one-year-old German Shepherd who keeps us all on our toes. For the past eight years, I worked in law enforcement, but I recently decided it was time for a fresh start. I’m excited to dive into something completely new and see where this journey takes me!

Hi, my name is Nichole! I’m based in Plano, Texas, and love traveling and going on adventures with my boys and my dogs. I have three amazing sons—two are adults, and one is a teenager. My two bird dogs are absolutely spoiled (even more than my kids!), and back in Texas, we also have two horses and a ram. Here at home, I care for a lively flock of chickens, ducks, a tough turkey, and two barn cats who keep things interesting. Professionally, I’ve been working in FI for nearly 13 years, bringing experience and dedication to my field. Before that, I spent a year selling cars, and prior to that, I bartended and worked in television and film—giving me a unique and diverse background that’s shaped who I am today.  

I have 6 years of prior experience in sales. I sold bikes to people of all different walks of life. Afterward, I spent a large amount of time in the cycling industry Trail-Building.

Meet Rick! Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Rick has a wealth of experience and a passion for lifelong learning. Over the years, he’s explored various career paths, including plumbing, real estate, manufacturing, and framing, just to name a few. This diverse background has given him a well-rounded perspective and an adaptable approach to any challenge. When he’s not working, Rick enjoys diving into a good book and spending quality time with his family. He and his wonderful wife, Emillie, share their home with three cats and three dogs, creating a lively and loving household. Rick’s dedication, curiosity, and wide-ranging expertise make him a valuable part of the team!

Meet Gage! Growing up primarily in Hendersonville, Gage also spent a few formative years in Costa Rica, which sparked his love for travel and exploration. He enjoys outdoor activities like sports, swimming, and discovering new places, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. Currently, Gage lives with his father, stepmother, girlfriend, and their dog, Mochi. His work background includes managing day-to-day operations at Donavon’s Appliances, a family-owned business, where he honed his skills in customer service and sales. Gage brings a strong work ethic and a love for connecting with people to the team.

Meet Vinson! Born in Charlotte and raised in Hendersonville, NC, Vinson brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence to the Hunter team. With a professional background that includes working for Overland Inc., representing brands like Maserati, Lotus, Jaguar, and Land Rover, as well as time with AAG Subaru, Vinson’s knowledge of the automotive industry is second to none. Outside of work, Vinson enjoys writing and expressing creativity through the written word. Though he doesn’t have any pets or immediate family nearby, his dedication and professionalism make him an integral part of the Hunter family.

Meet Santi! Originally from Long Beach, California. In his free time, you can find Santi grappling, diving into epic video game adventures, or expressing his creativity through his biggest passion, painting. Whether it's on a canvas or in his work, Santi brings dedication and artistry to everything he does. We're proud to have him on the Hunter team!

Hi, I’m Tony! I was born in Asheville but spent most of my childhood in Southwest Florida, though I made sure to visit Western North Carolina each year. In the 1990s, I made the move back to WNC and have been here ever since. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, especially my very active grandchildren. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, and exploring all that the mountains have to offer. I’ve always had a passion for cars and closely follow the automobile industry. I’m the proud father of three adult children and a grandpa to five wonderful grandchildren. I also have a yellow Lab named Gladys, who keeps me company on my adventures! Growing up in a third-generation agricultural family instilled a strong work ethic in me, and while I retired from a career in culinary arts, my focus has always been on providing exceptional customer service and sales. I’m proud to bring those skills to my work here, where I continue to help people in meaningful ways.

I grew up in the Greensboro and Burlington areas of North Carolina and have always had a passion for creativity and craftsmanship, whether in the kitchen or beyond. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me enjoying life on two wheels, whether it's motorcycles or bicycles. I also have a love for fine watches, home improvement projects, and spending time by the river. I share my home with a few feline friends who keep things lively. Before transitioning into sales, I spent 25 years as a chef, honing my skills in restaurants, resorts, and fine hotels. That experience taught me the value of dedication, attention to detail, and connecting with people—all of which I’ve carried over into my current role. Helping others find what they need is just as rewarding as crafting the perfect dish, and I couldn’t be happier with where this path has taken me.

Nathan Weikert grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved across the country to the Triad area back in 2006. Nathan has been serving customers with Hunter Auto Group since June of 2019, with several years of automotive experience prior to joining the Hunter team. He enjoys spending time outdoors in our mountains whether it be hiking, camping, kayaking, or biking. Other hobbies include anything music related, especially playing the guitar. Nathan is here to serve our customers and lead our service team with a smile!

Hi, my name is Max Bradley and I've been with Hunter Subaru over 3 years, a little under a year as a technician and the remainder of the time as a service advisor. I'm originally from Colombia, South Carolina and decided to make the move up the mountain. My time here has been awesome thus far, from jumping off waterfalls to newer hobbies such as jiu jitsu, having said that I'll never turn down a good video game session from my friends back in sc.  When I'm not doing those things you'll probably see me trying to get someone to laugh usually when i shouldn't.

Meet Jhon! Originally from Colombia, South America, Jhon joined the Hunter team in 2018 and has been an invaluable asset ever since. His dedication and positive attitude make him an integral part of the Hunter family. When he’s not at work, Jhon enjoys staying active at the gym, diving into his favorite video games, or spending quality time with his beloved pup. He brings the same enthusiasm to his personal life as he does to his work, and we’re lucky to have him on the team!

Originally from sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lazarus grew up surrounded by a big family as child number six of eight siblings—four sisters and three brothers! Lazarus is all about living a healthy and active lifestyle. He enjoys staying active, cooking up delicious and nutritious meals, and savoring good food. Professionally, Lazarus spent years as a moving specialist, mastering the art of heavy lifting and logistics. Now, he’s chosen to shift gears, focusing less on physical strain and more on using his talents to make meaningful changes in people’s lives. We’re thrilled to have Lazarus bring his energy, dedication, and passion for helping others to our team!

Growing up in Winston-Salem, NC, Jesse developed a love for adventure that fuels his hobbies today. Whether it’s snowboarding, rock climbing, biking, or even diving into RuneScape, he’s always up for a challenge! Jesse shares his life with his amazing girlfriend and their two beloved cats, who keep things lively at home. With around 10 years of experience in the auto industry, Jesse brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. We’re excited to have him and his adventurous spirit with us!

Hi, I’m Bradley! I’m a service advisor and automotive technician from Woodstock, Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy shooting pool, firearms, and hiking with my 140-pound Great Pyrenees, Loki.

Hi, I’m Alexa! I grew up around Pinehurst, NC, about an hour south of Raleigh, and now spend most of my free time climbing, hiking, longboarding, or exploring new roads. When the weather isn’t great, I enjoy staying in and playing video games on my PC.

My family now lives in Sylva, NC, so I visit them often—especially to spend time with my dog, Juneau, who lives with them.

My work experience is a bit of a mixed bag. I started in electronics with GameStop and Best Buy, then transitioned to more hands-on work at Lowe’s. I also had the incredible opportunity to travel across the U.S. for a couple of years while working in biomedicine, which allowed me to see a lot of new places along the way.

I’m a proud native of this area and have deep roots in this community. I’ve been part of the Hunter team for many years, and it’s been an incredible journey. Being able to serve our customers and work alongside such a great team is something I truly value. When I’m not at work, I love embracing all that this beautiful region has to offer.

Meet Patrick! Originally from Waynesville, Patrick is a passionate collector of old Volvos and LEGO sets, combining his love for classic cars with a knack for creativity and building. Patrick’s journey at Hunter began in the parts department, fueled by his deep appreciation for vintage Volvos. Over time, his dedication and expertise have become a valuable asset to the team. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys life with his wife and two kids, sharing his hobbies and enthusiasm for cars and collectibles with his family. He's a proud part of the Hunter family and always ready to help with your automotive needs!

Meet Makayla! A Fairview, NC native, Makayla graduated high school in 2014 and has been on a journey fueled by her passion for the automotive world ever since. That passion ultimately led her to become an invaluable part of the team here at Hunter. When she’s not at work, Makayla loves playing a competitive game of cornhole or exploring all the beauty Western North Carolina has to offer. Her enthusiasm and dedication shine both on and off the job, and she’s proud to call WNC home!

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m originally from Melbourne, Florida—don’t hold it against me! These days, I’m thrilled to be back in Western North Carolina, where I’m working on starting a hobby farm and love spending my free time hiking. I live with my partner of six years, and we share our home with two adorable fur babies, Snoop and Moo. My journey in the automotive world began as an intern and main shop tech for Subaru in Asheville, where I worked for four years. I then spent the past two years in the DC area as a parts specialist for Nissan. Now that I’m back in WNC, I’m excited to reconnect with this amazing community and work alongside all of you!

My name is Abel Quinlan, I am San Diego born and raised, and made the move to Asheville in 2013 due to my love of all the food, people, and drinks, Asheville has to offer. I am the youngest of three siblings and have a passion for football and baseball. On my days off I like to spend my time off hiking, having some drinks with friends, or catching a game. I'm looking forward to my next chapter here at Hunter, and am happy to be a part of the team!
